Wireless android auto on Leon Cupra 2019

Hi, I bought 2019 Seat Leon Cupra (290 GPF) and was wondering if I can do anything to make the wireless android auto to work.

It works with the USB cable, also already has the full link option included (previous owner said he bought it).

Is there any software upgrade needed or any other trick to make it work?

Hardware: H50
Software: 0516

Any help appreciated, thanks.

If it's only AA you want then I use the Motorola MA1. Been faultless since day 1. Just like all the others, it's made in china but seems to have better quality control and testing.

I bought the Carlinkit 2025 5.0 2air Wireless Adapter for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from AliExpress. Intially had a connectivity issue, which turned out to be the crap USB-C cable that came with it. I now just get in the car and it connects automatically, no need to touch the phone!

Looks like AliExpress still have them for around £30, as apposed to Amazon's £55.

After reading many, many reviews I bought a Motorola MA1 Android Auto wireless adaptor from Amazon because the reviews of the cheaper ones mainly say they stop working within a year.

Just fit and forget one of these -
I’ve been using the previous version (which is a little larger) for years and it’s been absolutely flawless. Can’t even see it in the usb port cubby
Thanks, I ordered this one, will report when I get it if it works or not.

Motorola MA1 is a little too expensive for me right now. Maybe will consider it if the other one doesnt work.

I actually had an AA Wireless box (from the indigogo campaign), and it gave me more trouble than the AliExpress one. The one from AliExpress has even had a couple of firmware updates, and it’s just always worked first time every time

It's all very well having AA/Carplay wireless connectivity, but it doesn't charge your phone if you want to keep it in your pocket!
So for me the wireless device allows me to not have wires all over my dash or centre console, which I hate with a passion.

So I found a company that makes excellent phone holders that also charge your phone wirelessly and aren't a faff to put the phone onto!

Had this in my Transporter and moved it to the car, this set up works flawlessly and keeps the phone high for better signal reception.

That’s exactly what I did! Brodit mount in exactly the same place yours is, and then I dismantled a MagSafe wireless charger and attached it to the mount so it sits flush (I’ve since routed the wire so you can’t see it)
