Not sure if this issue has been posted previously - can’t seem to find my answer if it has and apologies if it has been posted.
As the title suggests, this relates Apple CarPlay, specifically wireless.
I just took ownership of a new Ateca Xperience Lux, it’s a 2024 model (74 plate). unsure of what model the infotainment system is but I assume the latest (I’ve attached a picture of that helps) The brochure states and verified by seat that this model does indeed have wireless CarPlay but I cannot for the life of me get CarPlay working wirelessly, it will only work if I’m connected by cable. Bluetooth works fine and CarPlay works fine when wired.
someone mentioned I need to connect to the cars WiFi? Or something but that hasn’t worked. Am I doing something wrong, maybe someone can give me a breakdown of exactly how to connect wirelessly to CarPlay?
Thanks in advance and anticipation for any help and again, apologies if this already has a thread.
