Hey guys new to the forum, just bought a Seat Leon MK2 Stylance and got a sub an amp and full wiring kit . Now I want to keep the speakers stock just add a bit more kick to it, and don't fancy paying George down the road £60 to do so. So any tips i've been researching it and understand how to wire ground, power, not to sure on remote on which pin of the headunit. And also if I need a Low level converter to RCA adapter?. Looking to start building it all together in the next few days. And I like the look of the stock headunit, also the look of discretion will put thieves away! Oh and it's just a basic FLI Trap Active 12" 1000w sub+amp and 4 Gauge wiring kit.

Cheers anyway [B)]

If it's the standard stereo then yeah you need the low level input converter. There will be a wiring diagram on the stereo showing what each wire is, obviously you want the rear left and right speakers.

The remote cable is for when the amp switches on and off. You just need to connect it to something that's on ignition live, such as the interior fan unit.

Okay thanks for that mate, also what brand LOC and do I run it behind the headunit or take the back panels off and feed them to the rear speakers. Also do I run the LOC on the other side of the car because of interference or is it fine to run it next to the power cable side.

Okay I've installed the amp and ran the remote wire and power wire down passenger side and ran Rca cables down the other side into a LOC my only problem is finding a ground at the back of the Leon and finding a 12v remote point on the stock H/U without a multimeter which wire is 12v? .
