Today saw the removal of the Mk3's wishbones prior to painting a poly-bushing... all was going well and typically, something had to go wrong...
Cracked off the rear bolt, when to crack off the front bolt... steady, steady, SNAP!

Snapped just over half way down so there's just that little bit too much bolt remaining to let the wishbone out.
Realistically, has this turned into a sub-frame out job?
Anybody had similar problems?

took a airsaw and cut the bolt so i chould get the wishbone out off the subframe.welded on a nute on the rest off the bolt that was sitting in the frame an heated up the subframe red hot
