SO, after the battery debacle (which I’m pretty sure was ignition left on inadvertently overnight as it’s been fine since)
I took the car back due to an oil ‘leak’ on the gearbox being found on the service.
It was at first thought that it was from a bolt, further investigation today suggests it’s from the back of the gearbox casing, unfortunately to determine cause, further investigation is required, this means the gearbox casing has to come off and then determine whether it’s a gasket/seal failure or weak spot, just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar out of curiosity.
The leak is only very slight (more a weep) but all the same not happy, cars two month out of warranty unfortunately and I’m looking at around a grand or so just to remove and reinstall the casing, but then depending on what they find there’s the cost of parts
