But it's one that's probably going to be quite irrelevant in a few days after he's had his remap. That's maybe the time to post a thread with something to say about the remap, service etc. After that, this thread will be just sitting clogging up the Mk4 forum. The Mk4 forum would be hard to sift through if everyone posted every time they booked a remap, or a service, or thought about buying this wheel or that. It would be great if all the posts you read in the model specific forum ones were useful ones.

But maybe just move it then post Celtic quote 185bhp and 310lb/ft for a PD130 remap which is also "alot"
Mine hit 170bhp and 285lb/ft after a remap alone, on a tight engine in the heat of summer... besides its a RR lottery out there! as ive said, aslong as the owner is happy with the power delivery thats all that really matters right!?

I'm going to book it into a local RR a few weeks after the remap so maybe I'll let you know how I get on then, or maybe not.

personally I think the thread is a good one and when you do get the remap done just search for this thread and update it
