Wow £250 for pain work .EXPENSIVE ?

Just went to a garage to do some paint work ..

I want the break calipers and rear drums all in red ...

Seat logos outlined in red on all four alloys

Back and front badge in black

And outline of front grill in red .


All for 250 ? is that expensive .. should i do this myself ?

you could do it all yourself really, but it's the time it takes to do all that that is bumping the cost up =]

Robbed. You could it yourself in half a day and it would cost less than £50 fro materials!!

yeah i think i will do it myself ... how would you go about puttin a red outline on the seat sign in the middle of the alloy ?

you can get coachwork tape to keep a straight line, take your time prep stuff properly and it will be fine.

Yes very expensive! - some ppl do full resprays starting @ about £500

thats so expensive....

calipers cost about a fiver in materials.....really easy to do as well...just tape and paper then paint them.

grills are easy to do...sand down, primer, paint, laquer....

better to do it yourself, at least you learn for future times!
