Written off - Salvage price?

Does anyone know how much I could expect to get for salvage on a Cupra? The car is a cat C and wouldn't be worth repairing, but the engine/front end is completely undamaged. Engine code BWJ, less than 55000 miles and just serviced.

No ideas? Just seems a shame to scrap a mint engine.

If it's that bad, a grand or so would be a guess.

Maybe more if it's just economically unviable, and someone will do it and put it back on the road

Thanks mate, the insurance have said they'll sell it back to me for £2000, which is the only way I'll get my mods back but potentially leaves me out of pocket. The car should never be repaired though, the damage is too substantial for it to be viable.

If you have somewhere to strip it down you could probably break even depending on what's saleable over a long period of time.
