well i've tried all different ways to make my fr do it today to no avail :-( maybe just a very very quiet one in second gear but you would only hear it if u were listening out for it - wonder what i could do to make it happen as i dont want a cone filter....... any ideas?
....sorry to fill up the page a bit here! just had a search and a read about the differences - the two engines are almost completely different! i'm sure you all already knew this actually, but i didnt, being new to seat. different turbo, intercooler, ecu etc.... i'm quite surprised as this surely couldnt be cost effective?? if a 150 turbo was fitted to a 130, it seems the boost temps would go through the roof without the ic to go with it!!! i wonder why the same engine wasnt used but with different maps to give different powers?
Will have a nice shiny red strut brace as soon as SEAT can be arsed to make one!

Look under Audi A3 1.9TDI - same brace, and doesnt obstruct the Leon TDI engine cover

Stops your struts from flexing. The whole body of the car flexs and twists when you go into corners. You just don't notice this. This stops the twisting (flexing) of the struts quite so much. So more of your steering goes into cornering - not flexing your car! Meant to make handling a bit better when lobbing it in corners.

just been having a read about the woooosshhhh noise your on about and my 130 pd lean does it. exactly how you guys with the 150pd's describe. but the 130pd guys with the ibiza's are saying their cars don't. is there any real differences between the 130pd in the leon and ibiza. i looked at my mates ibiza 130 and there where a few little differences like the oil filter housings and the alternator belts where a different set up. Thats just what i could see from a quick look.
Thinking about it now it sounds like a wastegate chirp rather than a dumpvalve. What is causing the sound exactly?

You wont be dissapointed, apart from the amount of fuel you use cos its so god damn nice to drive a mapped 150.
Can't wait for the Spring/Summer so I can drive sensibly over to the coasts, windows down, turbo spooling up, simply can't wait
lucky i live on the coast already haha! windows down thismorning! pass the kids at the busstop and watch them all stare as i wooooooosh away haha
