I had it fitted to a warranty replacement gearbox from the first car and sold the car with another box. That same box was fitted to my FL Cupra and I just had it removed and fitted the original gearbox from the FL car.
Can't remember what it cost now - probably best part of £2k all in. The way the car can burrow in to a corner with an LSD is awesome though. XDS is kinda counter productive for trying to go fast in my opinion - you want power to get you round and nothing else

Yeah, I agree. I've changed my XDS to strong and it gives the (feeling) of better cornering/grip but I actually think that in some cases it's actually slower, just kinder on the rubber. If that makes sense.
As far as I know it's in the ABS module under adaptations and its module 36 and you have to change the setting from 0 to 2.
I have just deleted my inbox with the instructions yesterday but I'm sure that's it.

Didn't want to make a new thread so thought I'd dump it in here. I am currently looking for a fl Cupra and was wondering if it als has XDS. I assumed it has reading this thread (poped up in search) but just want to make 100% sure. Thought it was only on the Cupra R that had the XDS/ electronic differential.

FR=1,R = 3, so I'm guessing Cupra is on 2
Methinks XDS was added to FL. So, K1 being pre-FL my guess is no
Also just noticed that I wrote settings as 1,2,3. But I think it was 0,1,2...same difference

Definitely going to invest in the proper VCDS for this and other mods. I've been tracking em on ebay and second hand they only go for £60 less than what you pay for a new one anyway. So I can buy it and use it for a few years and sell it on for not much less
I have no idea haha. FR seats going on tomorrow so I guess that's a start
