I still cant understand the trial being less than the full thing, surely the trial is the full thing just time limited. Why on earth would they make the trial less than the full thing as it wouldnt sell it to its full potential. When you go and buy a car they done de-tune it for the test drive then let you drive it properly when you have bought it, that would be madness.
all i know m8 is what i was told when i went for the trail that u would not get the hole ball of wax but like a taster sort of thing.

I suppose they say you don't get the full benefit of the remap as the ECU will take a bit of time to re-learn the new parameters and the trial period may not be long enough.

It has to be so that it can run on 'any' car - with that you have to presume that some owners run it on naff petrol.... so the map has to work for that.
yes they can adjust it when you have the full code to match your fuel and driving style, so its not so generic as people make out
I had my LCR remapped at Votex about a month ago and have posted before that i wasn't amazed with the results.
Sure there's more torque etc but i wasn'tas gob smacked as i thought i would be.
I did have the map tailored for standard fuel though and wonder if this is making more difference than i expected??
