Well I've come up with a letter to send to my supplying dealer and to finance company I'll keep u guys updated, I'm nt having that back, its not right and why should I put up with it, biker probably right, transport damage sounds very possible.

If you don't mind me asking what kind of noise (or what did it sound like) was it coming from the rear that made you think something was wrong?

I agree that panel looks warped

That is what struck me, the panel has a definite ripple to it. Even if a spot weld had broken away that doesn't explain the warped panel.
Curiosity got the better of me, so I have just been out to the garage and pulled the trim back on my car to make a comparison. Below is a picture of mine, quite different!

Just done the same, mine looks like bikers, apart from the half a ton of **** in the boot to start with............ kids man how much crap!

well the noise at the back was like a creaking/ tapping kind of noise which is quite loud when going over bumps. and thanks alot for the pic just helps prove that mine is not right at all. i will definetely pursue a solution from the dealer because this amongst other problems is beyond a joke.

That is definitely rear impact damage. Someone rear ended me a couple months ago and it was like this, bit worse tho.more dented. I would be fuming about this and take it to dealers and then show them this and then compare ot to one of the cars they have there in the showroom.

Good luck getting this resolved mate. If you want more photo's of my boot area as evidence just let me know. I could drop the seats and pull the trim further up and get some better shots for you.

Have you already talked to seat about the problem?

I think they may say that you have had an accident whilst you owned the car, and try say that its your fault.

As people have already said, the car isn't fit for purpose and the safety rating for the car has been comprimised, and would not act the same in the event of a rear end accident.

You have many good points to bring to seat, and im sure and hope you get this sorted out soon as its ridiculus

i no mate its a joke, if the rear is this bad how can u have any confidence in the rest of it?!
i have spoken to the finance company but they only said send us a copy of the letter u sent to the supplying dealer so the letter being sent recorded delivery today so the ball is now officially rolling.

yeah probably but i havent - the bodyshop has said that they cant say its unsafe cos thats a bold statement to make but they doing a report to say its not right and its a worry as to the rest of the build quality etc

its not a squeeking noise its like a tapping and creaking mate. the welding is not the cause of the noise....its whats been found whilst trying to cure it
