Just get a clock set from another Mk2, the plug in the back carries signal for the rev counter.

How do you mean mate?... If it's the ignition on / off which doesn't work alongside the radio, then I'm in the same boat!

pull the radio out and swap the yellow and red wires around, i reckon itll be shitty signal though as mines also annoying the hell out of me.... gonna try 1 of those 12v halfords jobs lol

Its signal that is my problem aswell, it is really annoying me now.
