EDIT: You know you have a mk2 Ibiza when you talk about your car in a tread like this, as if the car is haunted... but in a good way... For example:.... doors closing "on their own" instead of by gravity(car parked a little sideways), "deciding" not to start instead of having a bad battery, saying "please" everytime to make it start, instead of just fixing a problem... Christine type of stuff, isn't it?

your drive shafts clunk when turning full lock (the sirclip that holds the bearing on to the shaft has gone walkies )
youve had a gearbox leak for over a year tried fixing to find the box is cracked so you run the gearbox with low/no oil (still going sounds like a hamster wheel though )
and obviously the old faithfull tappets

car wont go over 80ish now unless its gently taken over and deffo wont go over 100 without the engine retarding the timing

i had him up to 100 tho and he came off the roundabout miles before i realised what was going on

but yeah knock sensor needs doing soonish although ive never had it so economical!
