Wohoo, my HIDs have arrived. Shame I wont be able to install them till Friday as I'm at Uni during the week. According to my parents, the packaging it came in was literally bomb proof, meaning that your kits should arrive in top notch condition. Very quick delivery as well, only 6 working days!!!! Will post up some before/after shots on Friday.

Cheers for finding this bargain for me guys

Will do, I intended in adding it to the main HID thread when done. IF (Big IF) I get my car back this week I'll have all day to work on it so should be able to get lots of pictures. Can then pick out the best ones and use them in a guide for this forum :)

I have just bought some of these (just incase anyone cares) mainly because i'm pissed and my credit card was within reach, and mainly because i nearly died countless times in the Dark and Wet on my way home, give to how Shocking the Leons Std headlights are.

Now i;ve just got to wait the 2 weeks it takes for sodding PayPal payments to clear.

It's offical, i've a muppet........ Managed to press pay twice, and therefore................. I'm getting 2 HID kits. :censored: [:@]

Drunkenness and paypal are a lethal combination. I know only too well!

On the plus side you could sell the spare set on eBay without too much hassle... you might even turn a profit, given how cheap they are!

Alternatively I'm sure someone on here would be happy to take them off your hands...

I'm pretty sure you could send them a quick email and explain your situation (minus the drunkenness) and they will cancel one of the orders and refund the money.

I've just been told my car will be ready tomorrow afternoon! So depending what time I get it back I'll do the lights then or on Friday :D

Fitted mine over the weekend (did it with the 8000K bulbs whilst still awaiting the 6000K to be delivered).

I managed to virtually conceal all evidence of the ballast boxes with a rather neat install.
Passenger side real easy, as there's a shelf right under the headlamp and the ballast fits right onto this -- I used dual-lock (modern velcro stuff) to keep it here. Then with the cover over the top - you see nothing !!!

Drivers side there is a shelf underneath but a whole lot more difficult to get to. I looked up from the bottom (just inside the bumper) and could see the shelf and its also got a pre-drilled hole. Ballast mounting bracket fitted right on and from the top its completely invisible - bar the grommet and wires feeding it.

Top job -- although 8000Ks just a little too blue for my liking. But apparently the correct ones on there way (@ no extra cost to me)

Got mine today my kit came with the 8000K bulbs even tho I ordered 6000K bulbs if you are ordering a set of these i would make sure that you stress which bulbs you want!!!! Still waiting for a response from MYDEPOTS to see if they are replacing the bulbs!

Lights are now fitted and working a treat :D

Check out the HID Info sticky thread at the top of this forum for the guide, it's at the bottom of page 2 at the moment :)

Will post pictures later when it's dark :)

Pretty crappy photos I know, but this is the best of a bad bunch taken tonight. Taking photos of light is harder than I thought! Imagine combining the brightness of the first photo and the range of the second and you'll get something closer to reality. They are superb and highlight everything perfectly! I'll try and get some better photos soon....

I've got the headlights adjusted to position 1 on the height adjuster as it seems a little too high on 0. Despite that, the bloke at the MOT garage I took it to this afternoon to have the alignment checked said if anything they were too low! Position 1 seems about right though to my eyes.
