Radio Display Help?

When I first got my LCR 05 the radio display used to show the radio station, i.e. Radio 1, Kerrang FM etc, but now for some reason it only displays the frequency no, i.e. 97.9 FM. Any idea how to change it back as I've no idea what station i'm listening to and have tried pressing every button without success?

Hit the FM button beside CD (I think it has 3 levels to it), one of them should sort you out...

A bit off topic but... In my mates Leon 1.6, the Radio Station shows up on the wee rectangular LCD screen on the Dashboard.

My car has 2 of those we LCD rectanglular screens, any idea what they are for...?

I think one may be for an Automatic Leon...

Hit the RDS button mate, that will sort it. The girlfriend always hits the FM/AM button and it annoys the hell out of me.

The two displays on the instrument cluster didnt do anything on either of my Cupras. I was told that they were only used on the very early leons.

my old leon (2000) showed the current radio station etc on the dash.
it was useless though and i just used to look at the radio.

The top one is a radio display, on the early cars only AFAIK - and according to the manual (of my tolly anyway), the bottom one is for the auto

i just hit the TP on my stereo when it does that
then again to stop it interupting with traffic reports from cardiff???
