What conditions cause the engine to go into limp mode is it overboost and underboost? Bill said if there is a 200mbar of deviation between request and actual IIRC.

both. -ve deviation and +ve deviation can drop into limp

Jabba's controller was good in that it had a tap into MAP sensor so signals could be monitored and adjusted if req'd to prevent limp (I think) - as a controller it worked very well. I miss not having it working, and only just removed the thing out of my wiring this last weekend whilst wiring in the Apexi.

You have the apexi working yet bill?

So say if you have the ecu mapped for 1.6bar and you set he apexi to run at 1.2bar will it go into limp?

Any info you get would be good bill. Ive been reading a few jap web sites who use these and it basicly seems most are divided on whats best.

I have the wiring I have used for the Apexi but this does not include MAF.

inputs I am using are speed sensor off g'box, rpm off coil pack #1, throttle position off pedal 0-5v closed-open, boost from its own pressure sensor.

ground there are several points you will find under the dash. switched ign on is a question of probing with dvm, splice and fuse.. easiest probably down by fuse plate.

{edit-this is only going to be posted with the consent of matt as he supplied me the info)
