Something else for you to consider;-

A straight remap on a stock car is £550 and gets 265bhp (maybe change the dump valve so add £85)

To get to 280bhp using m1tchy calc's above you need to spend ( full exhaust system (£750-£1000) a FMIC (£800) Closed Air Induction kit (£200). A turbo intake pipe (£120) and a custom remap (£500-650) along with a RC dumpvalve (£100)....So from standard you'll need to spend approx £2500 on it to take it upto around 280bhp.

So that's over £1,800 for an extra 15bhp approx

In my experience 15bhp on the road makes very little difference and spending £1,200 on good suspension made up for the lack of 15bhp.

Thats exactly what my thoughts are. Its crazy to spend so much on 15BHP. I would want 100BHP for that amount of money.

If you want 300BHP+ then dont get an LCR. There are other cars out there that are far easyer to tune

I went the opposite route to Steve and can confirm that although Revo 2 is not a bad product, you are trying to squeeze margins out of components that are already pretty stretched. You are better off going the whole hog after stage 1 and going going BT. I should have bought a coilover kit instead of my exhaust. I drove Rudd's Revo Stage 1 car with coilovers back to back with my Stg 2 car and his cars power was far more usable on the road as his car had grip and handling and poise. The anti roll bars were fantastic.
