I have just bought a brand new 6th gen. ipod and dension ice link plus for mk3 ibiza cupra. None of the cd changer controls or the controls on the ipod work although the ipod does say its connected etc. I have tried updating, resetting etc etc my ipod and ice link (ice link doesn't seem to do much) and still no joy. Anyone know a solution to this or had any similar problems? All ideas appreciated.

So it's charging the iPod then?

Have you connected it all then re-installed the HU or did you trial it with the HU still 'out'? ie maybe you knocked something loose when putting the HU back in?

I have tried both, and several times with each. It switches on and thats about it. Only thing i can think of is that the ipod software is too new (dension install manual only says upto 5th gen. ipods).

Still having no luck, Anyone else tried a 6th gen. ipod with a cupra? Really getting annoyed with it now!

Cd changer now packed up. Finds the disc but doesn't play. Seems like its on 'hold' or something. Anyone know if cd changers need to be coded?

does the cd changer not become redundant after the dension kit is fitted?
thats what happened on my brothers golf.
yor better of controling the ice link kit thru the ipod too, rather than the stereo, it far easier to use.
