Its up under the dash on the linkage to the accel pedal arm, could it be the adjustment for the accel pedal height? As mine is quite a bit lower than the other pedals

Thats the throttle adjuster. I wasn't getting 100% throttle so turned it a couple of turns and sorted.

I see, thanks :) How do you know if your getting 100% throttle then? Because i gave it a quick turn to see if anything moved, not sure if its back where it should be now

Well i have an Apexi AVCR which tells me the throttle position. but there will be a measured value block within VAGCOM which ill tell you, not sure which block though.

Dam it! Why does everything lead back to VAGCOM?! (NOTE TO SELF - Buy laptop[B)] )

Cheers for the info :)

I'm a bit closer to you Beaker (Oxfordshire J6 M40).
PM if you want some help. :)
Regards Guy.

Cheers buddy, but i have got somone close by who may be able to help :D Just seems that whenever i want to do/check something on the car its always like "log block this, and read block that" I remember the days when a box of spanners was all you needed!

No probs mate.
What's a spanner or box of 'em?
Guy.

Ok, checked throttle postion on my car today with VAGCOM, was at 90% on full load so adjusted it but it would only go as far as 96.1%. So checked another Cupra that we dont think has been messed with and that also showed 96.1%.

Is this right or should i see 100%?

Havnt driven it yet, not entirley sure how it was checked (new to VAGCOM), we just fumbled through the blocks untill we got a change in throttle position in % when i moved the pedal.

One word of warning, once you get it to 96.1% dont adjust anymore! As one more turn after that meant my throttle stuck to the floor after pressing!
