Well done Pabs! Going to see my bank account in the Red more than usual now!!

Any ideas on what the part numbers are for the silver trim in the centre that you get on the TDi? Totally black interior isn't for me!

Other cheap Mods to consider are:

Audi S3 Lower Strut Brace - £20 - £25.

Audi TT Pedals - £25'ish off Ebay of about £30 from a dealer. I think the LCR have their own pedals which are nicer IMO.

Audi S3 internal Airvents - About £70 for all the parts.

Passat W8 Light - About £30 for the part and the wiring needed.

Side Skirts - If you haven't got an LCR. Not sure of the cost but I think its about £70 for the parts plus spraying and maybe fitting.

Leather Handbrake cover - £25 from a dealer.

Golf GTi Mk4 Wing Mirror Glass - Tinted Blue and looks better than normal stock - Prices can be expensive, but I got a set off ebay for £20. (Just make sure they will fit your model year).

Clear Side repeaters - £20 from a dealer.

Chrome Grille Surround - £20 - £25 from a dealer.

You could also bling up the engine hoses as well if you wish. Not my cup of tea personally.

I remember reading a comment on this forum from somebody that had fitted the middle sun visor from either an Audi or VW, the part that can be pulled down above the rear view mirror. Does anybody have details of that and how much it costs? Part numbers would be great too. I tried searching but couldn't find it for the life of me.

I didn't think it worked too well on my Mk4 Golf, also for an LCR you will need to spray the part black I guess

That's not a problem, I've already done a black sunglasses holder so this wont be a problem. And I always thought it worked well on the Golf that mates have had, gotta be worth a try!

so what actually lights up on these air vents then? is it just the wheel that opens/closes the vents or do you get a glow from inside the vent?

I'm guessing it is the small red tab on the front that is used to move them to your desired angle that illuminates or maybe the wheel that close/opens the vents?. I couldn't be bothered with the wiring etc as long as air comes out with them I'm happy. But everybody likes different things I guess...

reading the thread are you refering to the fr/cupra interior trim around the climate, i have one in a1 condition, sorry if im wrong

Yeah the bits that go around the climate control and also the cup holder etc. I am guessing you can remove them and spray them, just wanted to know what the part numbers are for the silver ones. They look trick!

Oh by the way! Finally got the car on friday! Wow! How much fun!! The speed and handling is awesome! Managed to catch the front spiltter already though picking the gf up from a club
