Spotted a black new shape leon today but I can't work out what model it was.

It had the side venting + dual exhausts at the back (not twin pipes)

Looked fkin great.

exhaustv either side like the r32? that could be any model but with the aero kit on it

like that?

Definitely sounds like you've seen a Leon with an aero kit. Wherabouts are you based? If you're around Northamptonshire/Milton Keynes, then it could have been mine.

Hi, is this the SEAT kit that can be order from the SEAT dealer? If so then I like it and will probably order one as well for my Leon Cupra when I get it in January. How much if I may ask? Thanks...

Yeah, it is a dealer fit option. Mine was the first to be done by the dealer, so i got it at a reduced amount - £2,281. I believe they are now doing the kit for £2,500. This was with MK Seat.

I assume these body kits can't be added after you've picked up the car?

Really fancy one not sure I can justify £2.5k for nothing more than aesthetics and a higher insurance...

The kit can be retrofitted by the Dealer.:) £1200 of the cost is the alloys, so if you can source alloys elsewhere you could save a few quid.

I reckon the body kit would look great with the existing 18" FR wheels.. Does that knock £1200 off the price?

I saw a yellow FR on the M66 near Rawtenstall with the aero kit fitted, it looked awesome.

I have seen that car in Sainsburys last week the missus loves the look of it she has a 2.0 tdi sport.

Now she reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy wants one, now she has seen it in the flesh.

Last Sunday? If so that was me driving it, any other day, was probably my hubby. We only live in West Hunsbury, so it's always in the that area.

How do you go with the black paint?? Do you always need to clean it to keep it well or have you had the supaguard coating applied or similar?

I'm still in the "honeymoon" period with the car, so it gets washed once a week! Actually it hadn't been cleaned for 2 weeks when i washed it on Sunday, and it didn't look too bad, which considering it has been peeing it down lately, and there is a building site just down the road, wasn't bad.

My last leon was Silver, and that i thought that looked good most of the time, but you really noticed a difference when it was clean. Hubby's car is silver, and he's washing that once a week.

Ask me again in 6 months, when the 'new' novelty factor has worn thin, and i'm washing it once a month! :D

One thing which i did have done, was having the wheel protection stuff put on the wheels. It makes them so much easier to clean. Well worth the £75.
