No i have a 16v and fill leather but not the tiger stripe style i just had to show a guy a pic of it as he is interested in buying my car and plate!

Czechboy has Cupra stitched into his seats is it an 8v as mine have GTi 16V.

Well thats the thing. Its a 2.0 16v, but thats the only thing I know for sure. The seats say CUPRA, yet the badges say GTI. because its an S reg, it would suggest its a CUPRA, but then again its got aircon and sunroof suggesting its a GTI. Basically its a Pedro "mix & match" special
On my DVLA registration certificate it is blank under the model/type section. And if I search for the reg. plate on RAC, it says its a SEAT, but the model is blank.
And to make things even more confusing the previous owner says its a CUPRA2
Anyways, back to the seats........get some half leathers from the 16v, as they are very ass hugging and IMO look pretty good as well.
mig, does your car have like a carbon fibre effect on the back under the number plate and on the door and rear quarter between the windows?
mine had that (mines a cupra sport), also try entering your number plate in an online insurance quoter and then it should bring up all your details on the car
also it should say cupra on the gear knob

It does have the CF effect on the doors and number plate surround, suggesting its a cupra sport.....................but....................you've guessed it, the gearknob says nothing, just R,1,2,3,4,5, suggesting its a GTI
And even the Insurance companies dont recognise the number plate, they know its a SEAT but thats all that their database comes up with. Even when they enter my Reg plate in at garages, or at Eurocarpart branches, it comes up with nothing.
Maybe the car is a cut and shut, half GTI half Cupra.........best of both worlds

well mines a gti 16v cupra sport also so perhaps ive got different seats or perhaps all of you have or maybe did they do a face lift model? mine is P reg which i guess might be an earlier model as i dont have a sunroof or aircon..
