After owning my genuine body kit since October, I thought I should take a look at how it looks on my A2 TDI Sport with 17" RS6 wheels.. I have to say, I'm impressed. Before seeing this in the flesh I was part torn as to whether I should sell the kit and make a bit of cash or take the plunge and get it fitted.

The front and rear skirts fit very well indeed - the side skirts are more problematic and will no doubt cause more issues if fitted.

I think after seeing how it looks, it'll be getting fitted. What's your opinions?

Cheers mate, I like it because it covers all the black plastic round the bottom (which will save me a fortune in back-to-black!)

Just dug out some pics I found on AutoTrader a while back of a silver A2 with a fully sprayed and fitted kit - for comparison obviously :p

i do like it but for some reason the wheels dont look right? Not too sure if the arches are too big or wheels too small? Likethe rest though:clap:

That looks crap IMO

But your wheels set it off

Not that bad,,, still need to decide if it's a bit pimp daddy or not tbh tho,,,

In the first pic [you car with unpainted kit] it looks a bit pimp but the other with the painted kit lookd pretty ok,,, maybe it's just the effect of seeing it still unpainted on yours,,, stay away from the spolier btw,,,

now it just needs a switchable map,,,

i don't like the way its not seamless, the skirts need blending in as do the front and rear aprons onto the arches.

Maybe it's the standard 'feature' on the sports - lower at the rear than the front (!) - which is exaggerated by the fact it's parked on quite a sloping drive

That looks sweeet, especially with the RS6's on them aswell
Agreed - I don't think too much of the AutoTrader one but it's the only pics of a silver A2 with the kit fitted that I've found to date. I much prefer my RS6's to the standard RS4 design - but then I've always loved the RS6 design [B)]

PIMP DADDY
I certainly can see where such comments are coming from, given the 'phat rims' and the fact the first pic especially makes the car look quite low; and I'm not going for the drug dealer look (it's not an X5..!) - but please remember that many of us considered the 'Pimp My Altea' thread to be quite cool :p ;)

Point taken.. that's a bit of a 50:50 as I agree about the 'lack of blending' with the arches, although I also think the chunkyness of the kit 'matches' the chunky arches also..

Confused, Yup

Sorry I think I much prefer the A2 without the bodykit!

I think it looks a bit heavy for the A2s frame and a little complex!

It visually increases the side height creating a tall/thin effect.
