Hi chaps, picked up my Cordy yesterday and I love it, I will get some pics up as soon as I can locate my Camera.

Anyway, remote locking from the key doesn’t work :( I have tried re syncing it with the car but to no avail any suggestions?

Yeah it locks and unlocks and the central locking works when the key is turned in the lock, but it’s the remote locking feature that does nothing.

I've had a search on the forums and not many people seem to have the answer to this one. :(

Basically when I do the re sync procedure the key does its 5 flashes and the car is supposed to lock itself according to the manual. Well it doesn’t do that it does nothing.

No offence meant here or anything but it can be forgotten about, ya tried another battery in it?

None taken all comments welcome, well it flashes when you press the button so I naturally presumed the battery to be ok.

Upon reading further threads it seems the transponder may be duff in the key. :(

Meh won’t give them the privilege lol, ill buy a alleged working key of eBay and nick the transponder out of it.

flashes means there is voltage - must be a minimum of 2.95v at least to work fully just a bit below it will still flash - never assume they are ok

transponder is a passive immobiliser - the only fault you have with those is the car starting then cutting out after 1 second due to it being missing/damaged or re-sync reqd - nothing to do with remote locking as its a seperate circuit

still could be a faulty remote section after all that (mine was)

Surely you will have to get details of correct transponder for your vehicle from SEAT anyway if you follow this route?
