Cupra Test Drive This Morning

Well I had a test drive this morning of the Cupra at Perry's in Aylesbury and I was so impressed I ordered one straight away.
The in-gear acceleration, ride and handling are outstanding.

I ordered it with Bluetooth, Convenience Pack, USB, Aero Side Sills, Arm Rest, Interior Trim Kit & Door Sill Guards.

I turned up at the dealers - Coupers in St Albans, got in the car and changed my mind, decided not to bother in the end. Had a look at an 03 LCR, decided I couldn't afford that either

Drove home with my new iPod instead.

They've got a red one. They're only getting 4 in for the year, 1 to demo (the red one) and three for retail.

Sorry no piccies, didn't think to be honest. It does look nice in red actually - better than I thought it would, but then it looked quite good on the old LCR...

I also ordered mine today, zenith grey with the bluetooth and convenience pack, just awaiting a delivery date. Will find out on Monday...cant wait!

just been to see mine this morning,its in a q awaitin pdi(will get some pics tomorrow,ive come away a bit ??? think it needs skirts badly as it dont look right with bare sills.awaitin price of dealer for aero skirts and spoiler,,

I was at Dave Penman cars in darlo this morning. They had a new cupra in the showroom. The seats are good but still dont like the centre console and the overall understated look.

Went to Newbury but their's is under cover till next weekend, tho they had a zenith grey at back awaiting collection by new owner and they let us take a look but it is very plain , so much so that we'd even parked rite next to it and didnt notice it was a Cupra!! It definately needs side skirts and rear spolier, glad we've ordered that on ours and glad we've stuck with Yellow. The salesman said its very understated as a car and he said its very fast which we replied you mean **** off a shovel and he said yes but he's not allowed to described the speed in that wayl!!!

Saw my dealer's car today. Unfortunately they have decided not to put it on the road for another six weeks and simply have it in the showroom.

Mine will be here in eight weeks.

Would have liked to have actually driven one a little sooner.

The one in york at Wills and Ellis is also RED, looks smart apart from the paint job on the rear spoiler loads of paint runs and markes in the plastic.
