Anyway had the dealers Leon for 4 days and Im happy that I have made a good decision on car choice. There is nothing that could touch it in my eyes for the car, spec and performance!
I had so much fun in the car, such a nice place to be, and Ive decided cruise control is the best invention in the world. Turn it on and just watch the mpg go up.
Had a go at seeing what the best mpg I could get to give me an idea of what the petrol cost is going to be like- mid 30s in pretty good in my eyes!
One thing I did notice that if you were changing gear fast it didnt like it to much, the car didnt like the quick snatch of the clutch. The car responded better to being treated smoothly when changing. What I liked was you can drive it sensibly but if you wanted to go fast and send her on abit, anything above 3000rpm the car just took off. All the right noises....
Another thing I was worried about and what having the car for a few days lets you test on the roads you drive is how well it handles the bumps and potholes, with the 18s on- it was like they were not there, compared to the ibiza this is what I hoped and prayed for! No more thumps and bangs.
Then the sad day came on Saturday morning.....had to give it back!

It was completely by chance that I walked into the dealers the day the colour was released. Heard about it on here but wasnt sure.
I think it may be a problem that not many people have ordered white as this could slow production as they like to do it in "job lots", but I have seen with my own eyes that my car was a week12 build and delivery to dealers 30/03/07 so hopefully I will have it soon

Would have loved to gone for the cupra ,but needed car to be more economical. I did here rumours of a cupra diesil may emerge at some stage......... Have seen pics of leon cc with metal folding roof looks blinding
Just hope the guys at good ol seat release it over here!
Ordered my FR in Candy White today
Had a Cupra 225, now a Smart 44 Brabus, but the GF wants it.
Am ecstatic to say I have put down the deposit on a Candy White FR, have to wait about 9 weeks to get it, factory order, also getting the 18'' alloys, is going to look amazing.
Am sure there wont be too many white ones around.

Good for you, I only ordered my Candy White FR this past weekend, so I have a lot longer to wait.
Bet you are excited, I know I am but I know it will be worth the wait to get the colour I want
