Hi Guy's,

This week i mounted Koni FSD Dampers with the Apex springs i mounted earlier. I am pleased to tell you that the difference with the oem dampers are
the same as night and day. With the original one's the car after the lowering was very harsh on bumpy roads, but with the FSD's the car feels even better (read more comfortable) than before the lowering. So for all the the future and present Cupra owner's i've got 3 must have's for you:

1) Apex or eibach pro lowering kit
2) Koni FSD Dampers
3) Remap
:seatgod:

Cheers,

Eric

You'll have to get some new pics Eri. Lets see how it sits now :)

I'm seriously tempted to fit something to replace the OE Ref Sport suspension with maybe some KW's.

Hi Eri,

You have changed your wheels!? I must say I do prefer these ones rather than the ones you had when you first lowered the car. Looks very good:)

Stu

Is it possible to fit Apex/eibach kit/springs and Koni FSD Dampers yourself using a car jack? Or do you have to go to a garage?

An eibach kit comes with springs and dampers. Sorry for asking these noob questions but we all have to start somewhere :fool:

Compromise of both worlds really. Firming up for sportier driving and softening for normal driving.

So basically you chuck it into the bends it stiffens to prevent body roll and when you drive it normally its more conventional, smoother and ironing out the bumps.

Coilovers for example, are brilliant for sporty driving, yet they are always stiff and a harder ride, which means when your cruising around you still rattle your fillings on every bump in the road.

A good explanation, many thanks! I feel it may be something that I will need to purchase.

All this kit can be fitted using a jack and usual tools as long as you have a reasonable understanding of what your doing .
took about 3 hours to do mine
