Whats the little filter at the bottom right of the picture?

What does it do? whats it called? and why do people fit it!

breather filter (i think thats the name)- it goes on the secondary air pipe as it was originally attached to the standard air box - available from most car shops -

hay im sure i now that engine,,,,,,,,,

it came with the dynatwist filter.

its for the secondry air injection pump witch you will hear cut in when you 1st start your car from cold after 1minute

it ant no breather like loads of people think it is

what does it improve from stadnard as im sure theres no bog standard filter there normally?

i ended up cutting the hose length back and then mounting the filter as it sat better.....

i prefer the dynatwist kit myself,,the jabba one is way to much money hense y im takeing it back,,,,,,,,,

plus the dv on the dynatwist one sound fooooking well loud,,,,,,

ill put mine up soon, iv had my own heatshield made using 2.5mm stainless steel, hopefully it will help a bit.

Nothing to do with the crankcase breather. As said its part of the SAI.

Mines been binned.

Oil filter housing via PCV valve to underside of manif, and to the right of the rocker cover then to the mushroom valve on the tip.
