Ok I guess this has been killed and you're all sick of it...

I might be getting a LCR that's already had stage 1 REVO and a forge dump valve... There's a chance I'll be getting it a little cheaper than I was expecting to pay for a car so I was wondering about induction kits (sorry, I'm very new to Leon's so don't know what products are regarded as good) - Would this car benefit much from putting a good quality induction kit on? (I'm not talking about a cheap open cone)

If so, is there anything you'd recommend? Also, would this be alright for the car as it's already been REVO'd?

Cheers guys :)

You'll get crucified mate for not using the search button.

BMC/Dynatwist/Ram Air are the main choice of induction kits

Or you could smooth your standard airbox and put a green panel filter in with a good cold air feed if you want to do it cheaply.

As you can probably imagine this question has been asked a million times before so some people will probably bite your head off.

How much you getting LCR for if you dont mind me asking?

I know it's gonna have been asked a load of times and I've searched... found the green dynatwist kit is meant to be good cause it's not oiled and not gonna mess with the air flow sensor... just wanted some more opinions though and if it would be alright to put on after it's been REVO'd :)

Yeah wont be a problem installing after revo.

Wont make much of a difference in power, maybe 5-6bhp on top of what you have now.

Sounds good and will give a better throttle response:)

The BMC/Ram air are not oil soaked, its just the K+N that ''may'' knacker your maf sensor as i believe that is oil soaked.

BMC purely on the fact i have it and dont have experience with the others:)

I think everyone would agree though, that the BMC looks the best out of the bunch as its a carbon airbox:)

All the main 3 (dynatwist/BMC/Ramair) will all be similar in their flow rate abilities.

No harm asking these questions a few weeks/months down the line. New Induction kits come out, more people will have bought them, more people can give up to date advice! ;)

...exactly :p

Nah I've been around car forums for years now (PGAC, CTRO etc) and I know how annoying it is when there's the same "whats the best induction kit and how many million bhp does it give me" threads popping up every now and then. Just couldn't find anything about putting one on a car that's already been REVO'd and if it would be worth it. Cheers :)

A couple of pics of the BMC mate...

Not great quality as its mobile phone pics but BMC does fit nicely into engine bay and doesn't really look out of place....
