wiring loom for ibiza 06

Hi Does anybody know whether you need a wiring loom if you replace the standard stereo with a different stereo such as a pioneer (about 2yrs old) the garage that i usually take my cars to reckon i need this as the vehicle was registered after march 2006, my car is a seat ibiza 1.9tdi 2006 reg.

Mine was registered June 06 and i had to get new loom/ harness for Seat to Sony.

You just need to swap the ingition and battery+ wires over. The car has iso plugs just like the pioneer...
