I really do recommend the Firefox spell checker add-on. It not only highlights text speak but we all miss the odd character in rushed typing or we spell certain words wrongly now and again so you might argue it's an educational tool.

absolutely nothing, but i dont think its the end of the world to miss the odd apostrophe, dont get me wrong txt spk is a pita and im all for binning it, however as this place is a forum for hobbyists i dont think we should have to enforce grade a english punctuation.

commas, paragraphs, caps etc all fine, but as you essentially read i v e and i've as the same thing, i dont think its a problem

do we bin im and i'm or even i am?
