The dealer just rang

Thats rediculous! If you've ordered it on your sheet thats your proof, Id push that one further..

That's the odd thing, the lady from Seat Customer Service's who was looking into it for me rang my dealer, my dealer said I hadn't ordered it. So ih her eyes Seat UK didn't have to honour my goodwill gesture and let me have the unit, when I explained that I had an order for dated 24th Feb with it clearly shown and signed by the dealer, she just didn't want to know. The delaers word goes above mine. I said I would scan it in and send it to her, but again, she didn't want to know. In a mail from her she said that the "Winter Pack" was officially pulled 6th March. So I would of thought that my order qualified!!!!

All she said was that if I had any complaints/queries/problems, then to take them up with the dealer.

Oh, and sorry for the Hi-jack, and my ranting. You can tell I am a little miffed.

Update...insurance certificate has arrived in the post, will get that dropped down to the dealers tomorrow. (Thanks bro)

Yep, this is what I was hoping to do as I too have already got a Tom Tom unit.

TBH not sure what can be done about it. It was the dealers fault for not ordering it, but it is Seat UK that is giving the "gesture"

Also. With the service recived from this dealer and the service from the Seat Customer Service's it's made me wonder whether I have done the right thing. But that's just my oppinion in the case of what has happened to me. I thought order a new car, sit back and relax and then in time a brand new shiny cat (to my exact spec) would be delivered to me.

It's definately taken the shine of it.

Well confirmed I will be picking mine up Saturday morning. It's unlikely to have its skirts and spoiler fitted though, as the spoiler is on back order.

So decided to leave the kit parts off for the time being, until TedJ's have everything in stock. Means they can paint everything together for a good match.

Still a chance the spoiler will turn up tomorrow, which is enough time to get it done. We shall have to see.

But too excited to delay the car now, so i'd rather take it back and get the bits fitted when in stock.

No. No update, as per usual I am chasing them. I have now been told this dealer I am with for some reason didn't order the "Winter Pack" for me, so I am not entitled to any compensation in the form of a free satnav, so what's all that about then. I haven't got any clue at all as to why they didn't order it, when it is clearly stated on my order form. The dealer is useless too, no explanation!!!!!!!

Wish I could cancel TBH, then go elsewhere.

He also is saying that the tracking system has been down for the past three day's so cannot track it to see if a delivery date has been allocated yet.

If the car that arrives isn't what you ordered they have no option but to allow you to cancel and get a refund of your deposit.

He did say he would have a look around the dealership to see if any are lying about to be able to give me. My veiw on this was that I am entitled to one and a new one at that not one that's possibly been demo'd.

I already have a TT unit, so I had said that I would of prefered the value knocking off. His answer was a strict NO, this would not be possible.

Had the pleasure to sit in both the new Cupra's in Barlow Motors showroom today while my service was being carried out - looks absolutely stunning and inside was just exceptional! Hope you love them - not long to go now!!
