Emulsion on car seats

I dropped a mate off today and when i got back in the car i noticed a smear of light blue emulsion on the back seat! Iv gotten the majority of it off but there are 2 small stains that i cant get rid of. Iv used a damp cloth to try and get them off as i didnt want to use any soaps or shampoos without knowing if there is anything better. Is it worth leaving till tomorrow and taking it to a car valet in the morning? Any suggestion greatly appreciated!!

emulsion is water based,i'd use a mild detergent,rather than white spirit

Its an 07 leon FR, does this still apply?

I've not used this trick on car seats but I found that a decent window cleaner used to shift emulsion paint a treat. It may be worth a go if someone doesn't something that doesn't do the job (proven).
