Picked up the New Leon Yesterday

Morning all,

Picked up my new Leon Reference sport TDi with the BTCC bodykit, 18" alloys and Chrome exhausts in Zenith grey yeterday morning. I LOVE IT, the colour is awesome!! When I handed in my ST I thought I'd miss her but no felt really good. Maybe cause the Leon looks and drives so grrrreat! Even got approval from the wife and no having to climb into the back anymore to put the little one in (Focus was 3 door). Looking forward to many more happy motoring days and not visiting the petrol station every other day,

Will be taking some today, providing a eagle hasn't s**t all over the car and I need to wash it! Try and get them posted tonight, really glad I picked Zenith Grey its so understated. Had a black ST before which was a nightmare to keep clean, also saw a Red one same as mine in a dealership in lincoln and although it looked great I thought it was a little bit in your face IMO,

Seconded, Picked my Cupra up yesterday too, Pics are still in camera atm, but will post later... too busy driving yesterday Today's tasks include securing the number plates as they've started to peel off already.....

I got an 07 BTCC in emocion red a couple of weeks back - I know what you mean about being an 'in your face' colour - the car turns 99% of heads that you pass! Only thing is I am all too conscious that red shows chips/scratches easily.

Loving the car so far - fuel economy is poor at the minute but I appreciate that it has only done 330 miles and most of that is town driving!

It's nice to have a car that is already kitted up and will only ever cry out for maybe a remap and bigger brakes in a few years time.
