Warwickshire once.
Well the story goes that me and the Misses were going to my Mums (a long way away).

We took my car and she was driving down and I was driving back.

She got to the end of our road and stopped to turn left, and I said mind that kerb...........................................................

The kerb looks like this

My Alloy now looks like this

This is the remainder of my alloy wheel on the kerb

I'm not happy, but at the end of the day there was a little bit of kerbing already there, she just made it deeper and longer.

Not sure how much this one is gonna cost

You have my sympathy. But easily done...

I smacked one of mine up the edge of a concrete ramp coming out of a multi story car park up in sunny Perthshire last month. If you think your wheel is bad, then you should see mine. Not just the edge shot, but chunks out of three of the spokes!

my mrs would never drive my car!!!!!!!! i love driving long distance short distance but for this reason il stick to the driving

I would consider a tow bar being fitted so you can fit steelies for the missus and tow your alloys for when you drive. PMSL..... Speed calming made a mess of my mates Preludes OZ alloys, imagine a 5 spokey missing the whole lump in between the spokes. His missus was driving and forgot to steer..... Re-occuring problem here.

:bleh:

that kerb doesn't look to be overly deep, but it sure left its mark :(

 gutted matey, although the mrs cupra is exactly the same :( she curbed the **** out of her alloys :( maybe its a woman thing for marking there terrotory?

It doesnt look to bad tbh, my old cupra wheels had been involved in a car being rolled over and were quite badly damaged, but the company i had to refurb them got rid of all the scrapes etc.

if ever i needed a reason for not letting the gf near my car, thats it!!

i feel your pain, i did a job like that a week or so ago, but i did it myslef, at least you've got someone to blame now :)

I touched mine up the other day, after a bus made me curb them. I also kicked off at the bus company cheque coming :D

Hmmm, think there is a way around this wheel kerbing problem, keep the keys away from the ladies methinks??? Not that all wheel kerbing is done by women just 99% lol!!

Waiting for replies from female members......:D
