Seat Leon Armrest

DOES ANYONE HAVE A GUIDE FOR FITTING A GOLF MK 4 ARMREST TO A SEAT LEON MK1?
I HAVE HEARD THAT THEY FIT? I DID FIND A GUIDE ONCE BEFORE BUT HAS NOW JUST VANISHED INTO THIN AIR WHICH IS VERY ANNOYING

TBH I wouldn't bother mate it gets in the way of the handbrake and no just a wee bit. Alot. I have one you have to get used to halding the handbrake a certain way if you dont want to keep pullingit up and down

is it really that bad having an armrest and it interferring with the handbrake!!!!

I never have a problem with mine. Not sure bout the golf one but the OEM one can be folded out the way.

Different people find different things, I couldn't be without mine

Once you get used to handbrake its ok

i can't find a seat leon armrest hence the golf armrest.
looked on ebay and net since got car in dec 05... still looking, not paying what dealer oopps dealer wants.
any body got a good source of where i can get a seat leon armrest.

i ended up getting it from the dealers, they fitted it free during my service

i would rather pay the extra and know it would fit and desingned for my car.

I'll second that.....!!

I leave mine on the lower setting (not at 90degrees) and it's fine once used to.

200 notes sounds expensive for what it is. I use mine on motorways and that's about it.

you might be lucky and get it cheaper.... mine cost £160 as an option when the car was new, but can't remember if they ever fitted them in the factory, or whether it was a dealer job....

You can get them from the dealer for about £125. Don't go for the £50 ones on e-bay from Hong Kong, trust me.

no worries.

I know some don't like them but I wouldn't be without it now I've had one.... great for cruising on the motorway etc, and if it's in the way for 'spirited' driving you can always fold it back out the way. job done!
