would you recommend toyo proxes t1-r for a lcr. does anyone have these on their lcr if so are they good?

Very good tyres, quite soft though so you don't get mega mileage out of them, but they perform very well. Not quite as good in the wet as the Eagle F1 GSD3 (the forum favourite tyre) but still very good.
Yep, go with Rob, great in the warm days, mine sticks like glue on roundabouts, but i do have other mods that help it...
BUt as been said, dont last long, and in the wet, DONT throw the car around... it will bite your head off...
My next aim is to get a set of Toyo 888's.... really have fun on the roundabouts then...

You have no faith in the Toyos Rob... i have seen nothing but great grip from them on all the cars I've seen them on...
except in the wet.. then its like olympic skaters...lol
Hold on a mo... I was laughing at your comment about the 888's in regards to wet weather, not overall grip!
I have every faith in Toyo tyres, that's why I replied to this post recommending them. We then spoke about wet weather grip and I laughed at the thought of you having fun on a wet roundabout withy the 888's

OH no... i will only move the car in dry conditions with the 888's on it.... thinking i'm going to have a summer set 888's and then a set of Eagle or Toyo's for the winter months...
Would make excellent summer and track tyres, that's for sure. Can see that TDi of yours tearing them to shreds in no time though to be honest.
Yeah well its not that bad, i have ESP, TCS and ATB Diff, the wheel spin is minimal now, the many thing i want more of is grip in the corners, I got an ARB's going on soon to add more, then the tyres are next on the list, i have two sets of 19" wheels now, so its a point of covering both sets....
Did you find out about the Arbs Rodger? Apparently Pat said they arn't that hard to put on.........

As above, had the toyo's on my previous car. In the dry they were good, but a little slippy in the wet.

Just had a set of toyos put on the front of my Leon cupra-not tried em in the wet yet(scary thoughts after reading comments about in the wet lol)
