i've had my Toledo 170 V5 for over a year now and its got a Cupra badge on the boot and one on the engine.

Now i presumed that these where put on by the previous owner to make it look more than it is,as i have found no record anywhere of Seat making a Toledo V5 Cupra

Trouble is I've been trying get quotes for towbars and all the companies swear that they have a Toledo V5 Cupra on there books and they dont do towbars for them but they do make them for the normal V5.

My log book just says V5.

So is it just badges or did they make the V5 into a Cupra??

Thanks
Geoff

Cool,so the last owner had been playing then.

Its got the Cupra multi spoke alloys and as few badges so thats it.

Time for a tow bar me thinks

Thanks for your help peeps

in saying that, you can get a 20vt engine toledo....180bhp. its just not labelled as a cupra

na, they never made the v5, but as has been mentioned they fit the 1.8 t 20v engine in it, from the audi s3 and leon cr, you could always get one of those revo chipped up to 265bhp ;)

Think that would have been the 180bhp 1.8T that was in them, not the 210/225 that was in the S3/Leon Cupra R though, these are the ones that you can remap to 265bhp+

there was a Toledo Cupra but it wasn't V5 and only the likes of Plato got to drive one :):)

Socko ,Do you have any pics of your motor with them Cupra alloys on ?? thinking of investing in some if they look the part ..
