That Little Button

Few months ago i took my car on track, had some really good fun.
yesterday i was cleaning my car when i noticed a light on the drivers side door pillar, at the bottom! Am sure there was a cover on the alarm swicth, but its not there now I looked everywhere, without joy!
Is it only a dealer part?
Do parts usually fall off?

Yeh quite sure its a dealer part! well they some times do break off of if you unlucky.

Yeah,same happened to mine but popped it back on-is that the alarm sensor button you talking about?

i'd try a scrap dealer or breakers first as will no doubt be a lot cheaper.

As a side note, does anybody use? Has any body used that button?

Yup internal sensors to allow for kids and animals, pity there is no actual way of knowing if you have pressed the button in far enough.

WOW does the button work for other animals too or does it just stop dogs moving?
