Ok so far this month my Cupra is costing me a stupid amount:
Tax: £205
17mm hubcentric spacers: £59.90
8 off 45mm bolts: £14
Discs & pads all round: £225
Replacement RBF600: £19
Bosch MAF: £76.40
2 off P Zero Neros for the front: £135
MOT: £48
Spark Plugs: £14
2 off Coilpacks: £55
That's a total of over £800 on parts (no labour) and the only mod is the spacers. Bloody cars.
On the plus side my girl on 35k miles passed MOT with flying colours, phew. I've put 13k miles on her since November and she's only needed coilpacks and MAF sensor - all of which went this month, bads come in threes.
Cars. You gotta love them.
By the way, spacers made a significant improvement. Fitted them and went for a rass down my favourite A-road. More stable, better planted rear end when braking hard with some lateral g's. Felt like turn in was better too, but this could be muddled by the new tyres and the dry road today (been very wet lately). Good value for money mod. Highly recommended. I found some 17mm hubcentric spacers to maximise the match between front and back track.
Oh it looks much nicer too, those arches are filled out to the edge of the car.
