Poor fitting bumper

Hope i dont make myself look a fool again by posting something thats been posted time and time again

The front bumper pops out at the sides were it meets the wings, i tried to re fit it but made it worse Im going to get some new metal clip thingys (what the screws thread into) but dont think that will be enough. Is this common and has anyone got advice?? Need it to get it sorted for thursday!!!!!

Spotted a few Cupra's like this, I think its the clips as you say but also a bit of a poor design

mines the same on the driver side the hose runs behind the bumper so you have to cut away part of the bumper at the back, i havent cut enough way so it causes the bumper to stick out slightly, best to take the front bumper off and take a look-

the bumper has to be modded, to get the fmic from forge to fit comfy, i remember ed doing this up in manchester, fitted ok at the time, but id imagine after a few times of the bumper coming off it doesnt fit as snug as it used to.

new clips, and abit of sawing near the pipes of the fmic will cure it i hope!

Isnt yours a petrol though??

Mine does it both sides and im sure its nothing to do with the cooler

mine is a petrol but im sure it take the same route as a diesel

sounds like clips then, the fmic by forge fits the beeza petrol and diesel. but the fmic that a cupra has on standard is thinner and longer as such, so wont be that!

Bit of a bugger that Hope all gets sorted soon.

The motors pretty clean, clayed it, polished, sealed and waxed a few weeks ago. The badge needs repainting and i think im taking the splitter off.

On the fitting front......I think there called speed nuts, seems GSF dont sell them or the bloke just didnt know what i was on about. Told me to ring the stealers. Mite try my luck at B&Q
