SEAT Sport make them (buy though Bill, as they don't deal direct)

Jabba's is a Pro-alloy copy, but doesn't have a couple of features that the SEAT Sport one has (bash plate for starters)

£270 rings a bell pricewise.

battery in boot.oil tank where battery was.
easier to get one from pace as they done the ones for formula palmer audi so they know exactly what you need and have got them in stock

The engine in the Palmer Audi is mounted longitudinally. Are you sure they make one suitable for transverse installation ?

they are both the same. you wont get oilstarvation because whats in the tank(not the sump)will be lubracating the system
almost identical to a vauxhall 2.0 xe unit there fitted to a fwd astra and to mk 1 and 2 escorts using exactly the same parts fith no alterations reqd for fwd or rwd setup.

Just check the JS one (Pro-Alloy) has the rubber flaps firmly in situ....
There has been one definate failure on one of these sump flaps resulting in engine/turbo carnage from oil starvation when the rubber flap got sucked into the oil pickup pipe, blocking it.

I'll stick with the genuine Seat Sport item myself.

Yeah i know what your taking about.

The exact same happened on your old golf Bill when my mate bought it, sucked up a rubber baffle on his way home from buying it off the lad.

Hooch, if your gonna get one, get a good one.
