Headlight bulbs?

Hi, looking to get my girlfriend a set of HID's, was just wondering which bulbs would be the correct ones to get as i think there's two types the H1 and H7 bulbs? looking to get them from mydepots.com, cheers for any help her car is a 1.4 mk 4 Ibiza 56 plate.

We do, but Ibizas use varying bulbs depending on whether you have a single headlamp or a dual headlamp setup.

Cheers for your reply, how do i find this out then i take it if it has a single setup headlamp does that mean it will have one bulb that does everything? The car is a 1.4 Ibiza 56 plate with the cupra style bumpers i think, all came as standard.

IIRC all the facelift Ibiza's have the dual headlamp setup.

Why not just take the bulbs out and read what it says on the side of them, it's prob H7 for dipped and H1 for high beam but check 1st.

Yes mate, If you look at the Pic In Guinness' sig, you can clearly see two seperate lamps, as I said, I'm sure all facelifts are dual.

my facelift has come with H3 full beam and H7 dipped and so did my last mk4 ibiza....

h1 and h7 if its dual

h3 if its single

H4 if its a single Guinness (dipped and main beam)! H3's are fog/main beam bulbs!! H7 dipped headlight bulbs.. H1 are full beam normally but i dont think seat like to use these obviously cost cuttin
