Hiya i'm about to order a Inferi black Cupra:), i'm gonna go for the Bluetooth, side skirts , spoiler and was thinking of the convenience pack?

Can somebody tell me what else it does apart from auto lights and wipers?

Is it worth the money ? , has there been any problems so far with the pack?

Thanks

leon

It should be standard! my daughter does not have it fitted and its a pain, I have it fitted and it IS useful.
Problems: only problem I have had was the rain sensor came unstuck - SEAT wanted to replace the whole srceen this I rejected [co's of the possible damage caused by removing the screen bonding] and opted to replace the selfadhsive patch with my own "red no nails" - firm as a rock for the last 1yr

Is it worth it, possibly - unless you can get as part of your deal.

I have the convenience pack and it wasn't something I particually wanted, just that the vehicle I ordered originally was already scheduled for build and had it on.

It's well worth the £200 or whatever it it.

Auto dimming mirror means that if a car is coming up behind you at night with bright headlights the mirror dims. It does seem to dim most of the time anyway if something behind is close up at night. Also has 2 red lights that illuminate the gear stick.

Auto wipers you can take them or leave them really as you sometimes manually need to switch them on or change the speed anyway. I have noticed if I have the wipers in auto and put the car into reverse the rear wiper activates if it is raining, which is useful.

Auto lights are also great. I live near Leeds and the city centre has quite a few tunnels, so come in really handy as I don't have to worry about the lights. The one slight snag is if you go under a small bridge occassionally they will activate and people think you are flashing them.

If I ordered another Leon for whatever reason I would opt for it again deffo.

Hope this helps.

The little red lights on the auto dimming mirror sounds nice.. thats about it lol

we have the pack on our car and though i wasnt too impressed in the beginning but after living with it for a while it is rather handy and makes you lazy ;)

the wife loves it cos she is lazy! and it kinda growing on me and just makes everything, well..."convienient"

just annoying when i get back into my car and the lights dont switch on by themselves

it depends if u think all of the above is worth 200 of your hard earned quids. bottom line, if we had to spec the car again then we have it again (for £200 though, wouldnt pay much more than that for it minid)

g :D

The con pack also means that the headlights come on automatically if you switch the lights on in the dark (with the switch in auto position).

Apart from that I think the lights come on too early and the wipers well its better to have manual control of these as they either come on too early or not at all as well.

My Focus Titanium had auto lights/wipers/rear mirror and I missed it when I had my FR demonstrator on trial.

I was lucky that the ex-demo I have now had it specced and I think it's great for a couple of hundred quid. I would say it's worth it :)

Thanks for all your comment's , i have auto lights , and wipers on my Cliosport 182, and before that on my 306 GTI , so i think i would miss them!

Thanks
