How to drain coolant?

Just need to flush out the old coolant in my 1.4(APQ) and put some new stuff in as its now far too diluted. Is there a plug somewhere?

i dont no if theres a drain point. but when ive done it in the past. i've just taken the top and bottom hoses off. then got a hose and stuck it in the rad to flush that out. and then done the same to the engine. as for anti freeze ive all ways just gone 50/50 mix

Mine doesn't have a drain tap, so I took the top and bottom hoses off of the radiator.

As for coolant, get some VW G12 plus coolant (pink in colour) from GSF or the main dealer.

Do you mean a garden hose pipe?

Got the coolant so will have a go at draining the old stuff out tomorrow.

its easy just make sure you have a bucket cos it can colour tarmac (as my mum found out after i changed mine lol)

yes use a garden hose. to wash out the rad and engine
