Refurbed wheels (at last)

Finally managed to get my wheels refurbed!

Decided to be different (or not) and go for white and i am very please with that decision!

Myself and a friend did them in about a week. The hardest part was actually getting the old paint off which was about 8 layers of black hammerite!

Let me know what you all think. Also note the recent addition of a badgeless grill!

I have to say, those mk3 alloys look damn good in white! Good luck keeping them clean though....

I assume they're painted? What with?

i was gonna do that with a set of mk3 alloys, think i want to drop to a 16'' rim soon, well see.

i was toying with getting some mk3 rims and putting a deep cream colour on them, against a black car they would look nuts!

they look good, better than black any day.

I dropped on mine quite well. As soon as i got my mk2 i was straight on ebay and there they were...........£80 with no tyres or centre caps. Still a bargain though me thinks.

Roelich at least my headlights don't look like they are out of a box of corn flakes!!
