Just wondering what bhp/torque figures you all have in your LCR's

Without going stage 2 i dont see the point, however with stage 2 id say the gains on the road are more than just the bhp figures seen on rolling roads due to the power holding longer up the rev range.

Way back when comparing my old LCR Stage 1 and CoxW's stage 2 the difference was noticable but marginal.

I'd say Mitchy and his NOS bottle gives way better results for the same money (stage 2 remap, exhaust, intake etc), but it's not to everyones taste.

I went the other way and made my LCR quicker through the twisties for similar money

So is that graph comparing one run in September and one run in October?

first run was when i dropped the car off at piper
second run was when i picked it up 3 weeks later

DPJ> point taken re: the max power dip on first run. however the power gain is a secondary benefit for me, over the improvement in torque, and when it is delivered - but it's still an improvement ;)

EDIT: my point being, that there is clearly a benefit to changing the standard LCR exhaust.

I have all the below fitted and upon having it mapped to stage 2 i was expecting a big increase but on stage 1 it run 249bhp and 278ft/lb then on stage 2 it run 251bhp and 301ft/lb , the second time was a red hot summers day which didn't help but the car pulls much better for longer and feels more nimble on the road .

fitting a FMIC tonight so hopefully that will help:confused:

Hi Stewbie, was that at the wheels though?

Unfortunately this was at the flywheel. I think 2 factors were at play here, firstly the results are "accurate" and not exagerrated and secondly I was possibly a bit down on power (running V-power BTW). It had been making less boost than usual before the RR though seemed almost back to normal on the day. Since then I'm sure I'm getting some variation day to day, some days it definitely feels more eager and it doesn't seem to have much to do with temperature either - today its cold but it's feeling a bit sluggish again

TBH when its running at it's best I reckon it actually making 340 ish :)

stewbie55 didn't you get 360 bhp on another rr, or was that not you?

Yep, back in July I got 316 at the wheels at Janspeed, which was calculated as 360 at the fly - the car felt very good that day on the drive there and was running Tesco 99.

I recon ive got between 270 and 275 bhp on a good day.Its got **** loads more grunt than when it was standard though, and it can keep pace with BMW M3 's quite well too once on the move, dont think this is a measure of power but it puts a smile on my face all the same:D

Not being smart with you but what makes you think you have 270-275bhp?

KEZ you fooled me I bloody Clicked it :lol:

Anyways some of these rr figures to me are a load of rubbish! How do we know the accuracy of the rr? Some people on here have had several RR reports and each time had massively different figures:confused:

Well ive got power graph but not sure how to load it onto here.Had it on two rolling roads when it was standard and it produced around 230 mark on both and more torque than what it should be for standard, and it feels like its got more than 250.

Had mine on the rollers before I started modding it. All I had was a BMC CDA and I got 231bhp. I want to go back to the same place and have another run to see what the difference is now :D

If this makes any sense,it has made 230 bhp on two rolling roads when it was standard,I then decided to get it remapped, before remap it was tested and again put out around 230 bhp, after remap it was 275.so i would like to think that the rolling road was reasonably accurate as it showed similar power results to the other 2 when it was standard before it was mapped.
