done a search, but no info

is the locking wheel nut key in the spare wheel well and what does it look like, its new boots time and all i can find is a plastic looking nut remover with a screwdriver type fixing on the other end?

is that it? surely not a plastic thingy

ta guys

green stuff or red stuff are good plus they give off less dust so your wheels stay cleaner for longer , im running green stuff with EBC slotted n dotted disks and theyre mint theres a good pic of em in readers rides ( my stealth look cupra )

yep thats it , good old seat keepin the cost down.

Really?

My locking wheel nut key is a machined steel part that fits in the end of the brace - it's multi-splined.

Yeah the screwdriver has a plastic end with a hex on, but that's just for whipping the wheel nuts out quickly once loose - which doesn't work very well!

You can get one from a dealer... if you have the key code/number for your bolts. The dealer / tyre fitter can get them off for you, but will probably charge you extra.

If you haven't got one, probably easier to have them taken off & purchase a new set, they're only about £25.

hi m8 just noticed your just up the road in retford (im in worksop ) and yep a garage could get em off , i had a m8 who lost his key . so when u get ur new wheels get another set of lockin wheel nuts.

worksop you say, nice one.

its only for a tyre change matey on 1 wheel, so they can bust it off for me and ill get a new one.

maybe ill bring to manton, thell sort it for me eh? (no offence if your from there like):funk:

non taken , i live near the police station so mantons not to far ( moving to gateford in 2 weeks ) and yep manton scum would av no trouble gettin ur wheels off and then sold to fill their needle or nose.

so, if i take it to ats or summats theyll just bash the nuts off it?

need a tyre on in a quickstick, running on a slick. (that rhymes, and dint even mean it)oh dear!

should do but id take it to a lesser known garage as national brands may refuse i think my mate went to motorsave (?) just round corner from me. they may ask you to sign a disclaimer and i dont think they just bash it off but they do something naughty.

so, other than bashing it off, how would i get they key for it then?
