I'm getting a kit for crimbo to go on my company mk5 astra, bit of a fiddle to find a kit that works with the can-bus system but I did find one...................£139

then once that's done I'm gonna do the bizza

20amp fuses... I presume they must draw alot of current when powering up.

I Only ever used to install Hella kits. I used to just go on what they recomended. Hella kits are whats in BMW's and Merc's as well as the VW range.

....... ina year or Two do you think EVERY new car will be brought out with Xenon headlights as standard, as prices come down? So their unique appeal now, might be lost.

But then, ANGEL EYE headlights have been out for a few years, and you still only see them on expensive BM's or the odd Merc. Still quite a rare sight.

LOL, I can still remember when buying headlamps, you had the option of 45 watt standard bulbs, or the fancy new 55 watt halogen bulbs !!

I can't remember the headlamp bulb type I used to have in my old mk1 fiesta, it was like an h4 fitment but it was spherical in shape

harness still hasnt turned up :( need to kick some ass!

yer they may be getting more common but they look better so id do them if they were on no cars or on all of them

when i get hoime im going to be sending some nasty feedback to 2 ebay items its a piss take!!!!

well you are supposed to have headlight washers with xenons otherwise when there is muck the beam disperses everywhere, or thats what a vosa guy told me if ordered from factory it has to have them if you install yourself i dont know the rules

So imagine how they would look at night when it's raining - All the rain droplets are going to scatter the light all over the place! Alot worse than some dirt?

....would look like Blackpool illuminations (even the driver would need to wear sun glasses so he doesnt get blinded)! LOL.

it is a legal requirement to have washers with zennons but i REALLY dont see why as beezaboy said water is a reflector dirt isnt

I fancy a set of these badboys off Ebay now. May even go to a Halfrauds and see what they have to say.

i STILL havent recieved my safety wiring harness to protect my ecu with the kit i recived ages ago just want to fit them APARTLY they will be here tomorrow but even if they do my CAR AINT HERE!!!!!
